Stone Osborne- 38ish Weeks!

How Far Along? 38 weeks, 5 Days- Stone is about 19-21 inches and 6-7 pounds!
Size of the Baby? Somewhere  between a pumpkin and watermelon...I'm thinking the picture above looks more like a basketball :)
Maternity Clothes? Mostly tunics, yoga pants, maternity jeans and leggings.  Anything that will fit over this belly of mine :)
Weight Gain? 18-20 pounds-chasing around little miss priss has kept me on track
Stretch Marks? I have a couple around my belly button...I haven't been nearly as religious about lotion application this go around and seems little man is poking out farther than his big sis.
Gender? BLUE :)
Movement? Of course!  And like last time, this is seriously my favorite thing about being pregnant and what I will miss most.  He is a wiggle worm!  Not to mention, the hiccups never get old.
Wedding Rings? On! So thankful my swelling has been minimal.
Sleep? Really good until this week.  I guess it is good preparation for those middle of night feedings we are about to take on again :)
Food Cravings? Strawberries...can't get enough of them
What I Miss? Sleeping on my back.  Can.not.wait to resume that position!
Symptoms? At this point, labor could happen at any time!  As of last Thursday, I was 2 cm dilated, 70% effaced & Stone is low.  Doctor said they doubt I make it to my due date, however, I've heard that before, so I'm not getting my hopes up.  I definitely feel my body getting ready for baby's exit.
Belly Button? I’ve been told it is no longer in, but not completely out, so I guess we’ll call it flat?!?!?!  This totally grosses me out and is my least favorite part of being pregnant.
Best Moment of the Week? Our house is completely furnished and renovations are done! It feels so good to finally feel like we are home.  Thanks to my mom and Cody for hauling our new couch over from Birmingham...it definitely completed the 2 1/2 month process of getting everything done around here.
What I’m Looking Forward To? Meeting Stone!  I seriously can't believe we will have two children in the matter of days....blows my mind.  I can't wait to get to know him.  I wonder if he will look like Lily, act like me, sleep like Slade (lets hope this one comes true)?!?!  Can't wait to lay eyes on our son!
Dear Stone,
As we get ready to welcome you into this crazy world of ours, I just want you to know how loved you are by me, your dad and big sister.  We have been so busy getting ready for your entrance- making sure all the newborn supplies are unpacked, your room is decorated perfectly, all your clothes are washed and hung...all while wondering with excitement what you will look like, act like...who you will be?!?!  I can't imagine how much more joy you are going to bring to our family.
Being a mother is the absolute best gift I've ever received, and I feel so blessed to be entrusted with you my sweet son.  I look forward to the days of snuggles, laughs and even the tears along the way.  You are a great blessing.  I love you sweet boy and can't wait to meet you very soon! :)

Lillian Pace- 39 Weeks

How Far Along? 39 weeks, 1 Day- Lily is about 19-21 Inches & 6.5-7.5 Pounds!
Size of the Baby? Full blown WATERMELON!

Maternity Clothes? Anything that will fit over this belly of mine J SO ready for a non-maternity shopping spree!
Weight Gain? 21 lbs…still trying to fit in 2-3 miles of walking a day & some CrossFit throughout the week.

Stretch Marks? The obsessive behavior w/ lotions & potions has paid off…NO stretch marks for me…WOOHOO J
Gender? Pink, pink, pink…Lillian Pace!

Movement? Yes & it is the thing I’m going to miss most.  Love feeling her hiccup, ball up & move around!
Wedding Rings? On! So thankful my swelling has been minimal.

Sleep? Can’t complain---not great but not horrible…I think I’m as prepared as possible for middle of the night feedings, since I haven’t slept a full night in months!
Food Cravings? Nothing heavy…mostly cereal, fruit, yogurt & toast.  & TONS of water!

What I Miss? Being able to tie my shoes without propping my foot up on a chair…the little things that seem to be tasks now.
Symptoms? Well, as of Thursday, we didn’t have any changes---still 1 cm dilated, 80-90% effaced & Little Miss is super low!!! Doctor said they doubt I make it to my due date, but I’m not buying it J I’ve had bouts of random contractions, upset stomach & tons of pressure.

Belly Button? I’ve been told it is no longer in, but not completely out, so I guess we’ll call it flat?!?!?!
Best Moment of the Week? We had a BUSY week!  My office threw us a baby shower & WOW—I’m so blessed to work with a group of such caring & generous people.  Lily was gifted with her pack-n-play, monitor, blanket & hat, toys & much more.  Mr. S & I also attended 2 parties, saw a movie (which never happens), got a ton of Christmas shopping done & got to meet Miss Caroline Marie Fowler (Lily’s future BFF)!

What I’m Looking Forward To? Having this baby!!!  I’m trying not to wish the time away, but man is it hard.  I’m SO ready to meet & hold Lily J

Lillian Pace- 38 Weeks!

How Far Along? 38 weeks, 2 Days- Lily is about 19-21 Inches & 6.5 Pounds!
Size of the Baby? The Bump.com says Pumpkin!

Maternity Clothes? Anything that will fit over this belly of mine J  SO ready for a non-maternity shopping spree!
Weight Gain? 20 lbs…my appetite has been minimal this week.

Stretch Marks? NONE!!!  Woohoo J
Gender? Pink, pink, pink…Lillian Pace!

Movement? My favorite!  She has had hiccups at least once a day recently…so so cute J  Kind of sad to think this part of the journey will be over soon.
Wedding Rings? On! So thankful my swelling has been minimal.

Sleep? Can’t complain---not great but not horrible…I think I’m as prepared as possible for middle of the night feedings, since I haven’t slept a full night in months!
Food Cravings? Toast & smoothies---can’t seem to stomach anything heavy these days.

What I Miss? I know this sounds corny, but I wouldn't change or wish this time away for anything.  I do miss some stuff (ie normal clothes, sushi, energy, wine), but all of it is insignificant compared to the gift of pregnancy!
Symptoms? At this point, labor could happen at any time!  As of Thursday, I was 1 cm dilated, 80-90% effaced & Little Miss is super low!!!  Doctor said they doubt I make it to my due date J  I’ve had bouts of contractions, upset stomach & tons of pressure.

Belly Button? I’ve been told it is no longer in, but not completely out, so I guess we’ll call it flat?!?!?!
Best Moment of the Week? Cheering on the Crimson Tide in the win over Georgia to advance to the National Championship!!!!  While Mr. S went to the game, I cheered from the couch & it was a good thing b/c the game was a nail biter J  So glad Bama was able to clinch the SEC Championship…can’t wait for Lily to sport all of her Alabama attire in January!!!

What I’m Looking Forward To? Meeting Lillian Pace Sellers!!!  Knowing that our little girl will be in our arms within the next 12 days is amazing.  It seems like yesterday we found out we were having a baby & now here we are about to welcome her into the world…a true miracle!

Maternity Clothes? Anything that will fit over this belly of mine J
Weight Gain? 22lbs----too much dressing & cake over Thanksgiving!

Stretch Marks? NONE!!!
Gender? Pink, pink, pink…Lillian Pace!

Movement? You bet…LOVE feeling her!  Kind of sad to think this part of the journey will be over soon.
Wedding Rings? On! So thankful my swelling has been minimal.

Sleep? Better J  Still getting up several times during the night, but sleeping more soundly this week.  Also, was able to get in some naps over Thanksgiving break which was SO nice!
Food Cravings? I stuffed myself with turkey, dressing & carrot cake…it was delicious!

What I Miss? Can’t really think of anything.  Going to soak in the next couple of weeks of being pregnant!
Symptoms? Braxton Hicks, Nesting & I’m TIRED.  I’ve also noticed I’ve been more swollen this week, but it seems to come and go.

Belly Button? I’ve been told it is no longer in, but not completely out, so I guess we’ll call it flat?!?!?!
Best Moment of the Week? Celebrating Thanksgiving with all of Mr. S’s family!  We started off the day with the Gobble Jog, then had everyone over to our house for Thanksgiving lunch (shout out to Mr. S, who did a great job smoking the turkey!).  We spent the evening at the Poulos’ new home….a fun holiday spent with family….doesn’t get much better!

What I’m Looking Forward To? Getting through the next couple of weeks!  We are SO ready to meet our little Lily…feels like days are dragging with anticipation.  I know it is not me who determines when she arrives, so I will just enjoy these days and wait for the Lord to deliver our sweet blessing J

36 Weeks & the Weekend...

Happy Thanksgiving week everyone!
This week allows time to reflect on how blessed we are & to bring THANKS...I know this is especially true for Mr. S & me this year!  We have only 3 or 4 more weekends of just "us" before our family grows---WILD! :)

Speaking of our growing family, here is a little update on Lily...

How Far Along? 36 weeks, 2 Days- Lily is about 19-21 Inches & 6 Pounds!
Size of the Baby? According to What to Expect she is the size of a Watermelon!

Maternity Clothes? Mixing regular & maternity clothes…mostly regular up top, maternity on the bottom & regular dresses (granted a size or 2 bigger). I CAN NOT wait to buy & wear normal clothing….there are so many cute things out there right now that I’m just dying to purchase J
Weight Gain? Still hanging around 20 lbs!   I’m happy I’ve been able to stay within my goal weight gain so far.

Stretch Marks? NONE!!!
Gender? Pink, pink, pink…Lillian Pace!

Movement? You bet!  Little Miss moves her rump from side to side at least once a day & I can count on her having hiccups every 2-3 days…LOVE feeling her!
Wedding Rings? On! So thankful my swelling has been minimal.

Sleep? I’ve been fighting bronchitis this week & my sleep has been terrible L
Food Cravings? No real cravings---just trying to eat anything that sounds good…lots of soup & hot tea to help with my sore throat.

What I Miss? Feeling 100%  I’m not very good at being sick J
Symptoms? I’ve had some occasional Braxton Hicks, NESTING has taken me over & I’m TIRED.

Belly Button? I’ve been told it is no longer in, but not completely out, so I guess we’ll call it flat?!?!?!
Best Moment of the Week? Even though I was sick throughout the week, I ventured to Monroe, LA over the weekend to celebrate my brother’s last home football game in his college career.  It was a wonderful weekend!  We are so proud of him & all of his accomplishments while playing to ULM J

What I’m Looking Forward To? Hosting & celebrating Thanksgiving w/ our family on Thursday & also running the Gobble Jog!!!  Love this time of the year J  Also, I start my weekly doctor appointments this week…hoping for good reports & maybe some progress?!?!?!  I’m not going to lie---I’m ready for our sweet baby girl to get here!

Speaking of my trip to Monroe, here are some pics from the weekend.  Seeing Cody & spending some time with him, made the 18 hours in the car worth it!  Sadly, Mr. S stayed home to study for his upcoming CPA test, we missed him alot.

And just because he hasn't been on the blog in a while---my sweet Tyde!

Lillian Pace- 35 Weeks!

How Far Along? 35 weeks, 1 Day- Lily is about 20 Inches & 5.5 Pounds!
Size of the Baby? Coconut…makes me want to go to the beach J

Maternity Clothes? Mixing regular & maternity clothes…mostly regular up top, maternity on the bottom & regular dresses (granted a size or 2 bigger). Can’t wait to wear ALL normal clothes again!
Weight Gain? Around 20 lbs.—doctor scale confirmed I had lost a pound since my last appointment, but Little Miss is still measuring right on track!

Stretch Marks? None w/ less than 5 weeks to go! I’m hopeful good genes & Mother’s Friend is going to pay off in the end.
Gender? Pink, pink, pink…Lillian Pace!

Movement? Yep & hiccups too! Little Miss is working with really tight quarters, so her movements have slowed down some.
Wedding Rings? On! So thankful my swelling has been limited.

Sleep? Terrible L Getting to sleep isn’t difficult, but staying asleep is the challenge. After my first potty break of the night, it is impossible for me to get comfortable again…guess I’ll be ready to function on no sleep once Lily arrives (trying to find the good in this!)!!!
Food Cravings? Um does water count?!?!?! I’ve been SO thirsty. Also, soup has been a frequent lunch staple this week---my favorite food in these cold monthsJ

What I Miss:?Nothing this week…I only have a limited time left before Lily enters the world, so I’m just trying to soak it all in!
Symptoms? I’m TIRED.

Belly Button? I’ve been told it is no longer in, but not completely out, so I guess we’ll call it flat?!?!?!
Best Moment of the Week? Our BABY SHOWER!!!! It was more than I ever expected J Mr. S & I were blown away with all the love, support & generosity we felt for our little girl. Also this week, Lily & I got good reports from the doctor, our maternity pictures went great (can’t wait to see them!), my mom & grandmother helped me get everything washed, packed, sterilized, organized and decorated on Sunday (such a blessing to have them help!) & we found out Mr. S passed the latest CPA exam he took!!!

What I’m Looking Forward To? Yesterday marked the beginning of my last month of work before I leave for 12 weeks maternity! Can’t believe it J Also, we’re headed to Monroe, LA this weekend to cheer on “Unc” at his last home football game as a player. We are so proud of him& all his hard work…looking forward to celebrating his accomplishments J

Lillian Pace- 34 Weeks

How Far Along? 34 weeks, 1 Day- Lily is about 20 Inches & 5 Pounds!
Size of the Baby? Butternut Squash

Maternity Clothes? Still able to mix regular & maternity clothes…mostly regular up top & maternity on the bottom. Can’t wait to wear ALL normal clothes again!
Weight Gain: Around 20 lbs.—this past week I haven’t really gained any weight, if anything, I’ve lost a pound or 2. Guess we’ll see what the doctor scale says tomorrow…that is the real test!

Stretch Marks? None which makes for one happy girl J
Gender? She’s ALL girl…Lillian Pace!

Movement? You bet. Mostly kicks & punches, but sometimes some balling up too….Little Miss is working with really tight quarters & I think both of us know it J
Wedding Rings? On! So thankful my swelling has been limited.

Sleep? Better than previous weeks.   I’m still restless at times, but have been able to find more comfortable sleeping positions, which has been an answer to prayers!!!
Food Cravings? Halloween candy got the best of me this week…Snickers are my friend & worst enemy all at the same time J

What I Miss: The 2nd trimester---I didn’t feel huge, still felt pregnant, could feel Little Miss, had energy…it was perfect!
Symptoms? Pregnancy brain is still around…sometimes I just feel completely dumb L In addition to occasional swelling, Braxton Hicks contractions, some lower back pain.  Overall, I can’t complain-these are all small annoyances compared to the BIG reward we will have in 6+/- weeks!

Belly Button? Still IN! Believe me, I’m so surprised & happy!
Best Moment of the Week? Nothing to do with Lily, but Alabama beating LSU on Saturday night was AWESOME!  I was afraid that stressful game may induce labor, but Little Miss pulled the Tide thru from her cocoon J  Also, Mr. S & I attended a registry event at BuyBuyBaby  & scored some fun stuff, including winning a door prize (which never happens to us!)!!!

What I’m Looking Forward To? A week of FUN!  Tomorrow I have a doctor’s appointment to check on me & Lil P, we are having a new refrigerator delivered (woohoo), Mr. S & I will have maternity pictures taken Saturday morning, then the thing I’m looking most forward to---our Baby Shower on Saturday afternoon!!!  I can’t wait to celebrate Lily with our family & friends! J
