Tomahawk Chop!

Last weekend was an exciting one for my husband....he took his little girl to her first Braves game!

If you know Slade, then you know he is a big sports fan.  While Alabama football is his first love (well hopefully 3rd now that Lil & I are are around!), I would say the Braves follow pretty close behind.

It was also a special day because we were celebrating Bebe as well (I believe most would say she had a birth month for her 60th!).  You see, attending a Braves game around Bebe's birthday has become a little tradition that Slade and his friend, Nug, started many years ago...unfortunately, Nug couldn't join us for this game, but hopefully we can all go to one later in the season :)

Bebe's friend Robin was in town visiting, so she joined us too!

Going into the day, I wasn't really sure what it would look like with a baby at the ballpark.  Everything we used to do with ease now requires serious thinking...how many diapers, how many bottles, do I have sunscreen, what about naptime, etc????  But Lily once again proved to be an easy, laid back, go with the flow, sweet girl!  She had a wonderful time looking at the field, listening to the music, having her daddy "teach" her some baseball stuff, playing with Bebe & Robin, and even napping!

Just doing a little 7th inning dancing :)
 Drool much?!?!

All in all, we had a great day at Turner Field!  The Braves beat the Nationals and our little family got to enjoy another of many "firsts" with our newest Tomahawk Chopper!
