Thankful Day 6
November 6th- Today, I am thankful for my job, boss & co-workers. I enjoy my job- I have learned a ton about small business, am challenged, but not overwhelmed. I am also blessed with an understanding, flexible, generous boss. I have fun, friendly co-workers, that make each day fun--- I could not ask for a better work place :)
Lillian Pace- 34 Weeks
How Far Along? 34 weeks, 1 Day-
Lily is about 20 Inches & 5 Pounds!
Size of the Baby? Butternut Squash
Maternity Clothes? Still able to mix
regular & maternity clothes…mostly regular up top & maternity on the
bottom. Can’t wait to wear ALL normal clothes again!
Weight Gain: Around 20 lbs.—this
past week I haven’t really gained any weight, if anything, I’ve lost a pound or
2. Guess we’ll see what the doctor scale says tomorrow…that is the real test!
Stretch Marks? None which makes for
one happy girl J
Gender? She’s ALL girl…Lillian
Pace!
Movement? You bet. Mostly
kicks & punches, but sometimes some balling up too….Little Miss is working
with really tight quarters & I think both of us know it J
Wedding Rings? On! So thankful my
swelling has been limited.
Sleep? Better than previous
weeks. I’m still restless at times, but
have been able to find more comfortable sleeping positions, which has been an
answer to prayers!!!
Food Cravings? Halloween candy got
the best of me this week…Snickers are my friend & worst enemy all at the
same time J
What I Miss: The 2nd
trimester---I didn’t feel huge, still felt pregnant, could feel Little Miss,
had energy…it was perfect!
Symptoms? Pregnancy brain is
still around…sometimes I just feel completely dumb L In addition to occasional
swelling, Braxton Hicks contractions, some lower back pain. Overall, I can’t complain-these are all small
annoyances compared to the BIG reward we will have in 6+/- weeks!
Belly Button? Still IN! Believe
me, I’m so surprised & happy!
Best Moment of the Week? Nothing to do with
Lily, but Alabama beating LSU on Saturday night was AWESOME! I was afraid that stressful game may induce
labor, but Little Miss pulled the Tide thru from her cocoon J Also, Mr. S & I attended a registry event
at BuyBuyBaby & scored some fun
stuff, including winning a door prize (which never happens to us!)!!!
What I’m Looking Forward To? A week of FUN! Tomorrow I
have a doctor’s appointment to check on me & Lil P, we are having a new refrigerator
delivered (woohoo), Mr. S & I will have maternity pictures taken Saturday
morning, then the thing I’m looking most forward to---our Baby Shower on
Saturday afternoon!!! I can’t wait to
celebrate Lily with our family & friends! J

Our baby bumps! :)
November 4th- Today, I'm thankful for a loving & forgiving Savior.
November 5th- Today, I am thankful for my family! I would not be where I am today without the love, support, encouragement & generosity of each and every one of them.

Thankful Day 2

Season of Thanks-giving!
Now that Halloween has passed & my most favorite holidays are ahead, I wanted to begin this Thanksgiving season with a "Thankful" series to celebrate the blessings in my life. Each day of November, until Thanksgiving, I will list one thing, person, etc. in which I am thankful for and why.
November 1st-
Today, I am thankful for my husband!
I am thankful for him for so many reasons- he is loving, hard-working, disciplined, thoughtful, caring, loyal & my biggest cheerleader :) Plus, super strong...haha!!! I could not ask for a better partner in life & dad for Lily. Love you babe!

Size of the Baby? Pineapple…one
of Lily’s favorite fruits (I’ve eaten it often over the last 7 months) J
Maternity Clothes? Mix of regular &
maternity…mostly regular up top & maternity on the bottom. Can’t wait to wear ALL normal clothes again!

hit the 20 lbs. mark people…hoping this is mostly Lily & will come off
quickly after she arrives.

one happy girl J

over the weekend which was great! Bottom
line- I can’t wait to sleep on my back again & not have to worry about
complications.
Food Cravings? I’ve been eating a lot of fruit, yogurt &
cereal, and drinking a ton of water! I
have noticed this week that I’m not staying as full for as long…guess that
means Lil P is growing J
What I Miss:
Being able to do things without help…just call me Ms. Independent! And a flat stomach.
Symptoms? Pregnancy brain has hit me head on L Occasional
swelling, Braxton Hicks contractions, feeling overwhelmed at times. Overall, still feeling really good &
blessed!
Belly Button? Still
IN! Believe me, I’m so surprised &
happy!
Best Moment of the Week? I had a doctor’s appointment on Tuesday--- Lily
& mommy received great reports! Little
Miss is measuring & sounding great…hearing her sweet heartbeat is the best J
What I’m Looking Forward To? Enjoying the next 7 weeks of pregnancy! I can’t believe we are so close to meeting our little girl. We are SO ready J I know the next 7 weeks will lead to many changes for me, Slade & our family…all for the better.

A Halloween Weekend!
Happy Monday friends! Hope you all had a great weekend :)
Mr. S & I surely did. We ate delish food (thanks to my talented brother-in-law), rested, spent time with family & friends, got some work done around the house/nursery, caught up on some favorite TV shows & celebrated Halloween a bit early...a Trunk or Treat with the Lichter's & a Halloween WOD with our favorite Crossfitters!
Love this little man! The cutest Elmo ever :)
Rich Froning never leaves home without his 4.5# wallball!
Happy Hallween from Crossfit North Cobb! :)
A bonus to our fun weekend---our 2 football teams also pulled out WINS!
Roll Tide & Go Warhawks! :)
Well now that Monday is ahead of us, I hope everyone has a blessed week! Come back tomorrow for an update on Lily...we are 33 weeks today!!!
